Easy to Make Gummy Snacks

These are super easy snacks to make that can support gut and joint health. I love having these gummies around for a quick snack or dessert. They are made using grassfed beef gelatin, which has a host of health benefits including:

  • Maintaining skin hydration and elasticity

  • Supporting healthy intestine mucosal lining

  • Beneficial for healthy joints and connective tissues

  • Contains essential amino acids including glycine which helps support healthy blood sugar

You can make me these gummies with any variation of juices and flavors. Here I've used tart cherry, lemon and honey but I also really like using orange juice, ginger, and a 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric. I like these on the less sweet side, so for a sweet tooth use, 2 tbsp honey

Easy Cherry Lemon Gummies

3/4 cup tart cherry juice

1/8 cup fresh lemon juice

1 tbsp honey

2.5 tbsp beef gelatin powder (I use Vital Proteins)

Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowel. Pour 1/2 cup in a saucepan and heat on low heat. Add gelatin powder to remaining liquid, sprinkling it over the top. This is called blooming and helps reduce lumps in your final product. Mix the gelatin mixture slowly into your saucepan and heat gently until all ingredients combine with no lumps. Remove from heat and our into candy molds or into a walled baking sheet and let cool in the fridge until solidified. If you use a baking sheet cut the gelatin into squares or use cookie cutters for fun shapes.
